Hoard Party Hysteria, and Things I Made.

watches

I collect, gather, hoard treasures
in the hope of someday using them for things.
So I'm linking up to Sandi's
Barely Sane Hoard Party.

Here are some of my gatherings:

Suitcases

THREAD

FABRIC

I also hoard: hinges, hooks, buttons,
buckles, purses, hats, frames and more.
Now you know why I've got a store!! =0))

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And this is some of what I finished this week.
(posted for Get R Done at Expressly Corgi
and Finished For Friday at Lit and Laundry.)
Some new ornaments.
(also listing this with frugalicious Friday.
Using bits and pieces of what you have)
Go HERE for quick instructions on these.
Isabel's Ornament
Ava's Ornament
And I got more bird nests done.
(I just found more vintage gloves if you were waiting to order.)
I also painted a stool, and 2 chalkboards,
and 4 sleds,
but forgot to take pictures.
(what's wrong with me?)
  1. Oh Barbara Jean! The watches don't do much for me, but those suitcases ... how I would love to get my hands on those and paint them all over with teddies and gollies! And the thread and fabric ... you have bolts of it!
    Love all your ornies too, very pretty indeed!
    Thank you for joining in.
    Warmest hugs,
  2. I have to say...the thread thing seems to be a bit over the top..
    ( smiling).
    Otherwise the rest does not look too bad really. ( snicker )
  5. Well you sure are busy - that is why you forgot the camera! You did a lot of great work - do you work on things in the store while you're working? And where do you store all the things you 'hoard'?
  7. I also have a few stashes of things, with the attitude "I may have a use for that some day". I started going thru and cleaning out a while back, but stopped and never got back to it.
  8. I try not to hoard stuff "just in case" anymore, I periodically go through things & toss like at midnight last night! The watches are a little over the top! But I do not have a store where others can take it og=ff my hands either.
  9. You have exhausted me with all you have finished. I am still sick and moving at a snails pace. So I will just enjoy reading about all you do for now. LOL Sharon
