I see blogger has been changing things and
I have no clue how to customize/add links/change sidebar etc now.
Hitting Design, where customize used to be does not do it.
And I cannot add a gadget, just move them around.
Help!!!!!
(guess I could go read directions, if I can find them either.)

ReplyDeleteHi Barb, I think the Graphics Fairy Background blog or her regular daily blog had some instructions. But not being a blogger I'm not sure. I was just on there this morning and she had mentioned changes. Good Luck! Hope you find what you need.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much help Barbra Jean, but going through design doesn't work? I had trouble with it working and not working yesterday too. --I just clicked on design and it took me to the layout page to add gadgets and so on. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI know!!! Blogger we love you but a little warning/instructions would be nice. Ok go to design,layout and they tell you to add go back to blogger, look up at the top right it says back to blogger...go there and you are back where you can add. Might be a better way but this works.

Barbara Jean - I think you have to click on new post at the top of your blog and then click on dashboard when the new post shows up. Once your dashboard shows up - and your blog shows up - I think you click on 'design' instead of 'layout' right under your blog information and it takes you to what used to be called the layout page.

I read this and thought I just added the other day. Design goes in to the same page I used to get. I don't think I have updated recently so if you did it may be different. I am so sorry you are having issues. I switched to the minima streach several months ago and like it but there are very few really cute backgrounds. I like that it is big. I use Windows Live Writer for my posts so I think I skip some of Bloggers changes. Susie @ 1st Floor Flat is GREAT at these things adn has all kinds of info she shares. Good luck!!!♥

I think if you hit design then on the top of the page that comes up it says something like "return to blogger", click there and you should get what you are used to. (I was trying to get it to do this now through my blog but don't ya know it just went directly to layout). Good luck.

Barbara Jean, when you go to your blog, simply click on the orange B on the upper left. That will take you right to your dashboard. The end. :) xo
