Rusty Stuff Day

Cute tin sewing box.
Blues in it of course. =)
Inside is rusty and holes i bottom.
Someone used it for a planter.
But it still looks cute just sitting here.
(Oh, don't miss the yellow handle,
and yellow tatting..
It's yellow day too you know) =)

Rusty plant stand I just acquired.
Too rusty for you?

I got two of them.
Thinking of maybe spraying one white,
and letting the rust show through.
What do you think?
Happy Blue/yellow Thrifty Monday.
Please go visit these other fun places.

  2. Love that old sewing tin. Blue and yellow are one of my favorite color combinations.

Definitely spray paint the plant stand and let a little of the rust show throw. Will look great with sweet little plants on it.

Best wishes for a beautiful week. :) Tammy

  3. Now 'tatt' is a good word. It is not used much here in Australia, except as maybe short for tattoo. I do like your yellow tatt!

I like the rust. I would give that a try: paint one but scrape some of the rust through. I would like to be creative like that. Do you have a courtyard in which to display your planters or would they go in a sunroom?

  15. A little rust never hurt anybody! Love that sewing tin. Blue/white/yellow are favs with me. I like the idea of painting the plant stand black or ORB and using it in the fall for a pumpkin display. Have fun with it.
