42 Years!!!!!

42 years today.
Happy anniversary to my sweet fella.
love letters in the sand

Our traditional 6 pieces of chocolate covered caramels.

A sweet card.

and flowers from my fella.

Not all a bed of roses, but
so glad we stuck it out through the rough times!!!

What I've learned:

Put the Lord first.
Trust Him.
Think of your spouses needs above your own.
The Lord will take care of you.

If you are struggling right now,
hang in there, it is worth it.

  5. CONGRATULATIONS.....Yes, you are right...do whatever it takes to make it work for the two of you......prayer, love, and building on all your memories thru the years.
Way too many couples throw in the towel on a marriage too early, like it's a competition..instead of a commitment of those sacred vows you spoke to each other and before GOD, friends and family.

This was our 42nd year too !

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.

  6. It truly makes me happy to hear of a couple who have weathered the shakedown cruise, and the ensuing storms, and have made a lasting marriage.

Although I don't know you, I sometimes reflect on how it might be when we all begin to meet in our new lives. Then I can congratulate you in person.

  22. Happy Anniversary!!! What a blessing. Your roses and card are wonderful.

I saw your cloche, that is fabulous. Now how in the world did you ever think of the lamp top and the clock. They are perfect together and I love your vignette inside. So clever. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are feeling better. Have a very Blessed Christmas. Hugs, Marty
