Shopping in the Country

Do you like shopping in the country??
Sometimes you follow signs for miles before you finally get there.
And you never know hat you will find.
Today we drove miles to a "HUGE" sale.
And it was huge!!! And messy. And hot!
I can't tell you how many piles just like these we saw.
They just seemed to keep going.... and going.....
and going.

But, we persevered and looked and looked and
did find some treasures.
Like these ever so pale pink, shabby, peely, rusty rails!!
And the old cart rims, so perfectly rusty.
Here are some other treasures we found.
(already had grinding wheel).
See those old lamps? They will be perfect table bases.
(hoping someone else will buy them and make them.) =)
Wrought iron plant stands, stool, bird cage,
wire thingies, and huge old dust pan.......
and this so cool table base!!!
(hoping someone else will make the top for this too.) =0)

Will show closeups on white Wednesday.

Happy Monday everyone

  7. ooooh...I like that pink plant stand. All your finds are great. I bet I could have found something for a patio table that I am looking for there. No luck so far. Those great old lamps will make awesome candle stands too. :)
