I have one of those! I used to ride it as a child! I re-finished it and pulled my kids around in it a few times...it is stored for "safe keeping" until the "gang" is done being so "busy..lol love the idea
those sleds are very common in this part of Canada! I have a really great rocking horse on springs and a metal base...that I used as a child too....my parents picked it up used at a garage sale...it looks like a carousel horse...and is made of very hard plastic..almost like porcelain...I will be in touch...one day...I plan to take shots of these things and post them...but the garage needs a good cleaning first!
I am 37 born 1971. You can still find those here for sale brand new! lol the handles are metal on most and mine is too short for me...I felt like I was hunched over trying to pull it! there is a little metal rod along the bottom of my ski parts on mine...I really should just go out and take a pic of it if I can reach it in the garage..it is way up high!
