Three or More Tuesday - Copper

Three or More Tuesday
This is 3 or More Tuesday over at Tam's at Gypsy Corner.
Be sure to take a peek at what other treasures our friends there have,
and thank Tam for putting such a nice time together.

Well, here are 3 copper pieces i picked up this weekend.
A sugar and creamer sitting on their own tray.
Nice.

Oh, Here's a tea pot to go with them.

Oh. Here's another sugar and creamer!
Well, it looks like they would match better than the first two.

Oh, they do!!
Beautiful set.
Tarnished, just the ways i like things!!

Well would you believe they had all 5 pieces packed onto that little tray?
All for $1.00?
guess you know i did not have to think about that purchase for long.
These go straight to the shop.

Thanks for stopping by.
Be sure to check out the other Tuesday event listed on my side-bar.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

  1. It is hard to find copper pieces around any more. Good score on those. I really like to see copper in the garden.

  4. Oh I love copper. You know what this reminds me of? "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens...these are a few of my favorite things" lol.

    All the best,
    Allison

  8. I too would probably put them outside & let them get a great verdigris patina. Great find!

If you dip/brush them w/ ammonia, it will speed up the process.

  9. Beautiful copper tea things! We have lanterns outside at the lake with copper tops and they are just starting to weather a little, that sort of swirly, greenish pattern. It looks awesome!

Your pieces would make lovely vases for real or dried flowers! What a great deal!!

    Happy TOMT!! :-D
