White Wednesday

Southern Daydreamer

Here is my Rednesday!!

Each morning we go for a walk.
This was about 2 miles away from our little housing tract;
a trail down to the river.

This was at the end of the trail.
Can you see what it says?
Handy for the outdoor person who has been hiking for a bit.

Here is a great reinvented red.
An old barrel with an Ostrich on it.
This is at the end of a long driveway in the area where i walk.
I guess if they are telling you how to get to their house,
you just look for the red barrel with the ostrich on it.
Sure bet there are not too many of those around. =0))

This is more Rednesday,
and a little Outdoor Wednesday together.

Can you see what I see??

Look close.

These were two tiny little frogs (like 3/4") on my geranium.
I said, "now stay right there while i run in and get the camera"!!

About broke my neck running in the house,
then said to myself,
"Well, they are either going to be there or not, quit racing around like an idiot."

They stayed right there till i got back.

Here is number two.

And here is a little bit of white to round out your day.

some books, a couple of old crocks, and some clothes pins.
(OK. i know they are not white. They just snuck in there).

I just got this adorable vintage blouse a couple of days ago.
(click on pic to see details)
This one is going to the gift shop right away.

Blessings and happy everything day to all!!

  1. Happy Rednesday! I like that little red outhouse, but I guess you would have to be in desperate need to use it! I love the little frogs too! And not just one.I can't remember the last time I've seen a frog in my gardens. Lucky you!

  4. Wow -- you must speak FROG. What obedient little fellows. And very cute, too!

Lovely post -- got a big kick out of the red restroom. At least it wouldn't be stuffy in there!

  6. Well, I guess the broken outhouse would be better than bareing it all in the woods! Hopefully your house isn't too far away. I'm not sure what would be worse, having to use it or coming across someone using it! Enjoyed all your Wed. photos.

  9. I love those little frogs - they're so cute! Maybe you should call your pelargoniums "pelarFROGiums"! I pulled the same camera stunt yesterday while talking with dh - saw some butterflies and bolted, leaving him hanging!

    Have a great day!

  11. Your conversation with yourself as you ran for your camera to get the frog photos was too funny. Love it!

I am afraid that I relate...been there, done that.

  12. What an interesting combination of Wednesday items. You did a great job putting it all together. I think I would have to pass on the outhouse.

  13. I think I dream about that red outhouse. In my dream I'm always looking for a bathroom but there's no privacy. Cool trash can. I like the artwork. Hugs

  18. I've had LOTS of little toads this summer, too. When I cut the grass, they are hoppin' to get away from the mower. They are all over the yard and even where I make a pond for my Newfie to cool off in. Must have been the long cool and wet spring we had this year. Beautiful blouse! But what can I say about the red outhouse that hasn't already been said ;-)! Thanks for sharing!

  19. Cute outhouse. Don't know if I could use it with my shy bladder, even if I had to go bad. I had to chuckle at Pat's comment. I have had that dream. The one where you need to go but can't find a bathroom with privacy. I wonder what that kind of a dream means. Nice to know I am not the only one. Hope you had a great week!
