Thrift Store Thursday

Be sure to go visit Holly and see the other great finds.

vintage thingie's thursday

vintage thursday
Check this out and then go check out Colorado Lady,
with out hostess Suzanne.

This is my vintage find for this week.
I just like to leave these old things rustic, and
put them in the 'kitchen' store display for sale.
That old toaster makes a great photo, or recipe holder!

As you can see,
this piece of Bavarian China is all chipped at the top.
Nothing an old hanky can't cover up.
Then it will be beautiful piece again. Here is the set.
Unfortunately the sugar bowl rim has chips too.
They were so pretty i still could not resist them for .50.
This old clock doesn't work,
but it will work to house photos,
or a cute bird scene or nest.
And here is a cute little tea pot,
that is really a salt shaker.
Only 2" high!

That's it this week.
I was having a garage sale so hard to get out to others.
Don't worry, I'll be out again this week, if my back is up to it.

blessings,
Barbara Jean

  1. Oh, what great finds. I had a toaster like that, my mother in law gave it to me, but I swear I don't know what happened to it. Love all your little pitchers, so pretty.

Have a great VTT and a wonderful weekend.

  5. I've seen where people put a little light in one of those old toasters, and it looks cute! That clock is gorgeous, and the sugar and creamer are so pretty, chips and all. I call the chips "character"!

  8. I love the little tea pot salt shaker. I had a clock made like that, when it tore up I put my oldest son's baby picture in the top where the clock part was and in the bottom I glued pastel material on the back board and glued three of their teethers on it. Everyone always comments about it.
