vintage thingies thursday
This is a combo post of vintage and thrifty finds.
I have been having a great time hitting
the garage sales this summer.
Not sure i will ever catch up taking photos of it all,
but here are a few items from the past two weeks.
some paper crafting supplies,
old scissors,
a heart box,
old pink flower saucers,
an old mirror,
and 3 old door plates.
Cast iron pancake skillet,
3 glass domes for bird nests,
a small copper pot,
and a heavy metal coffee pot.
Some vintage,
and not so vintage,
great finds.
an old dictionary and not as old world atlas,
old toaster and whip,
old sprayer tip,
some old hair rollers and clips,
2 frames, and a gold frame with a pink tub in it??

And you can't beat this:
28 doilies......
Free!!!!
And this is my favorite find.
Not free, but close to it!
All these items were in a fifteen cent box!!
little old boxes, with 'stuff' still in them,
some old pulleys and a clock key,
an old door knob, and some drawer pulls,
and, not old, but useful, door latches.
(don't worry, I'll make them look old.) =0)
Please go check out other vintage and thrifty finds,
and thank our wonderful hostesses for bringing this each week.
Blessings and have a great Thursday,
Barbara Jean

ReplyDeleteBarbara Jean, I'm a Barbara Jean too, most of the time it's just Barbara until I go back home to Alabama then it's always Barbara Jean.
ReplyDeleteI've shortened it to B.J. when I write but nice to know someone else has the same name.
I absolutely love the doilies, I can chrochet my own, but buy them ever chance I get, so hope you enjoy you find as much as I enjoy the ones at my house.
Many Blessings

Barbara Jean, my name is also Barbara Jean but most of the time my family and friends just call me Barbara unless I go back home to Alambama and then it's always Barbara Jean.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm writing or signing my name I just use B.J. and be done with it.
I love the doilies. Although I can chrochet my own I'm always looking for bargain.
Many Blessings
