Three or More Tuesday
hosted by Tam @
the gypsys corner
This is a combined post of my 3 or mores, and
my second time around.
Be sure to go see all the other treasures and thank
our wonderful hostesses while you are there.
"Totes"
(sounded better with Tool Boxes, than purses did.) =0)
This thrift store purse as done by adding an
old beaded piece to the front of it.
I just love how it turned out.
Tool Boxes!!!
I am suddenly fascinated by them.
Love all the rust, but will do away with the grease!
May even paint some up for other uses.
I forgot my camera t the store,
so will have to save my 'newest' 3 or more for next time.
Blessings on your week.
Barbara jean
See anything you like? Go here to shop.
Where are the time you could wear all those glitsy purses??? The time of coctail party's and evenings at the opera or theatre???
ReplyDeleteOMG and ooooo lala! great post. BJean...the boys are going back today so my 3 projects may become more than just a daydream this week. ;D
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love those old tool boxes!! Johns Grandfather worked on the Titanic as a "french polisher" and one of his cousins still has his tool box(I want it)...such storys behind them!! All the best,Chrissy
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a toolbox kinda girl than a purse girl. However I can appreciate how pretty the purses are!

Nicely done - the purses remind me of TOOL BOXES - only more fashionable!!! They hold WOMEN TOOLS! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I'm a big fan of special little handbags. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHope you have time to stop by my place this week. I'm celebrating a week of roosters.

I like the tool boxes best too. Did you know you can put coffee beans or ground coffee (buy the cheap stuff) in these boxes for a week or so and it will get rid of the grease smell. Works for any smells actually.
ReplyDeleteDear Rooster Party Participant,
ReplyDeleteJust a reminder that the Rooster Party is this Friday, August 28th. I am so glad you joined and I'm really looking forward to seeing your Roosters.

Great purses! I really like the needlepoint bag...it's precious! What are you planning on doing with the toolboxes? Be sure to let us all know!
ReplyDeleteHello Barbara Jean, I love your purses and the black one where you added the beaded piece is so pretty. A clever idea.
ReplyDeleteI will have to think about the tool boxes. they must be good for something besides tools. LOL.
Hugs...Jeanne
Love the purses. I am such a girl when it comes to the perfect purse--- love them!!
ReplyDeleteHI Barbara; I am so loving all of your beautiful vintage purses.. each one is just so gorgeous... and wow you really do love old tool boxes,, how great they are though,, all the ways you can use them and paint or decoupage them or what ever... how fun.... thanks for sharing..

I love the vintage purses, especially the beaded ones. The tool boxes can be turned into surprising things. I saw one in a garden that was used as a planter. Lid propped open and flowers spilling out!! I thought of painting one bright pink or yellow and using it for my gardening tools. I bet there are gads of things you can do with them. Poor overlooked things!!
ReplyDeleteHappy TOMT
xoxo
