Totes and Tool boxes

second time around tuesday

with Diane @
A picture is worth a thousand words.

Three or More Tuesday

Three or More Tuesday
hosted by Tam @
the gypsys corner

This is a combined post of m
y 3 or mores, and
my second time around.

Be sure to go see all the other treasures and thank
our wonderful hostesses while you are there.

"Totes"
(sounded better with Tool Boxes, than purses did.) =0)

This thrift store purse as done by adding an
old beaded piece to the front of it.
I just love how it turned out.

A little bit of glitz
that has seen better days.
(still cute sitting on a dresser)

A beautiful needlepoint looking purse...

More lovely beads...

a bit of vintage waiting for a new owner...

oooh, how about this piece, to wear or display....

and........

Tool Boxes!!!

I am suddenly fascinated by them.
Love all the rust, but will do away with the grease!
May even paint some up for other uses.

I forgot my camera t the store,
so will have to save my 'newest' 3 or more for next time.

Blessings on your week.

I'm more of a toolbox kinda girl than a purse girl. However I can appreciate how pretty the purses are!

  7. I like the tool boxes best too. Did you know you can put coffee beans or ground coffee (buy the cheap stuff) in these boxes for a week or so and it will get rid of the grease smell. Works for any smells actually.

  11. Hello Barbara Jean, I love your purses and the black one where you added the beaded piece is so pretty. A clever idea.

I will have to think about the tool boxes. they must be good for something besides tools. LOL.

  14. I love the vintage purses, especially the beaded ones. The tool boxes can be turned into surprising things. I saw one in a garden that was used as a planter. Lid propped open and flowers spilling out!! I thought of painting one bright pink or yellow and using it for my gardening tools. I bet there are gads of things you can do with them. Poor overlooked things!!

    Happy TOMT
