Here are some more goodies:

The other framed buckles sold, but here is a new one.
And another idea next to it.

And how about some *gold buckles, on a vintage doily.

Another *"Remember" a bit different and larger than the first.

And here is the pile of goodies I started out with for today's treasures.

stamped paper, frame, tea stained paper,
buttons, keys, cheesecloth, ink pad, stencil brushes,
and scissors. Also need some glue, (fabric glue or glue gun will do).

I took this pile of goodies,
and swirled it all around on my craft table,
and wallah!
A couple more framed pieces of art.
First this *one....

then this *one....

I just loved making those roses, and adding the butterflies.

* these items are available at the store.

Next weeks project in the works...

Go Here for Second Time Around to see my
Broken foot, broken tray, cracked head and ears bunny.
Don't ya' just love him!!!!

  2. Hey there! I'm having lots of fun with your 3 in 3 Challenge - just the motivation I need. I should probably look for a weekly event to join so I keep going. I went back this morning and added the links - Dancing with the Stars was on before Mr Linky was up last night :-) I LOVE what you've done with the frames - you're very creative, I envy your talent.

Have a fab day! See you for the finale next week!

  3. You have come up with some great ideas for those frames! I love how they turned out. I was not able to click on your link to the project you wanted to share...something about broken foot, ears or something. You have me intrigued, but I don't know where to go.

    Happy Tuesday!

  5. I love what you have done with the frames. I wish I was as creative. I can never think up stuff like that. I wish I would have participated in the challenge. But alas, I procrastinated. Unless you count doing some fall decorating as a project.

  7. Hi Barb...

Just read your sweet note, my friend! You just made my day!!! Thank you so much for all your generous and sweet compliments...Girl, you made me blush! Hehe! You know, honestly...I would just be in my "7th heaven" if I could do up pretty vignettes for shop displays!!!

Well my friend, I know this is week 3 of our "3 Projects in 3 Weeks" deadline week...I have completed two of my projects and posted about them! My 3rd project consists of doing an autumn tablescape with my new autumn dishes...was planning for that this week! This may sound silly but I think I'm going to postpone it till next week...because...we have had a cold front move in and it's raining like crazy! It's only getting up in the 50's...very gray and dreary! Supposed to be this way all week! I've found that my tablescape photos aren't very good if I don't have a little natural lighting from the windows! There is none...zilch...right now! Hopefully next week will bring some sunshine our way! So silly aren't I? I am learning though...with the photography thing! I am really enjoying the photography...just as much...if not more...than doing the actual tablescapes, vignettes, etc. And as you've seen...I love playing with the photo graphics! Hehe!

Barb, all of your frame projects have come out soooo beautifully!!! You're so creative...I love all of your ideas! I mean, I would have never thought to use belt buckles for wall art...but they're gorgeous!!! You did good, my friend!!! Ohhh...and I love the two that you used the lace, old key and buttons on! I think they're my favorite!!! Simply fabulous!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents and beautiful projects, and ideas with all of us!!! You're the best, Barb!!!

    Warmest wishes and Happy Fall!
    Chari
