You know how you do a post ahead, and then you add to it, and you want it to post, now?
How do I do that?
I see the post options at the bottom of the screen, but no matter how I do it I cannot get it to work. It wants to post when I first started it, which is sometimes 3 days ago.
Help??
Thanks and blessings

Go into edit post, open the post you want.
ReplyDeleteClick on post options with in that post.
Change the date and time to when you want it to post. (example if you wanted it to post today May 17 at 10pm you put that in)
Then click on publish post.
Hope this works for you. Have a great night!
Barbara Jean I just change the date under post options and time...Is that what you mean?? let me know...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteI tried it once and it didn't work for me so I'm sorry can't help you!
ReplyDeleteYep - these folks are right Barb - its the post options tab.

Tami is correct.
ReplyDeleteYou have push publish after you change the date and time. You are not saving it but telling it when to publish.
Barbara Jean,
ReplyDeleteif you put the date and time in the bottom post options and hit publish, it should post with that date.
I did it once with my photo gallery. I made the post, but I back dated it. However if you are on someone's blog roll, it will show up as your newest post. possibly showing the date from 3 days ago.
good luck

It drives me nuts. I have tried it as well, changed the date and time BEFORE I started writing the post, wrote the post and then clicked publish.......... and it still posted it immediately. I have heard from other people as well that there seem to be a lot of problems with that option.
ReplyDeleteCan you post it know and then click that pencil icon on bottom to add to it or edit.Good luck Sincerely Jonny
ReplyDeleteHow about leaving it in Draft?
ReplyDeleteI think it may save it and not post it, until you re-open that post and hit publish. Forgive me if I'm all wrong here.
It sounds like folks have this figured out...I know what you are talking about...I have failed at this one also..Hope this works for you...I went to look at your rose tutee...I’m going to try it...Imagine, a use for used teabags besides the compost pile or my worm box!!
