It will need a window.
Especially if it is an inside wall,
with no natural light coming in.
And after you build the wall,
and put in the window,
You add the curtains....

This is the newest area of our store.
I cut my class room in half to add
additional display space.
Guess you know I'm doing some heavy duty
organizing on the other side of this wall now.
I'll show that on Karen Valentines party
"Where Bloggers Create."
(listed on my sidebar.)
Today I'm joining Donna,
at
Funky Junk Interiors
for
the window event.
Thanks for hosting Donna.

That is so cool! At first, I couldn't follow you as to why you were building a wall. The end product is darling.
ReplyDeleteHello Barbara Jean~I've been busy with visiting family. Summer weather may not be upon us, but the summer guests are.
ReplyDeleteI did take time to sneak out of the kitchen (from time to time) to see what you'd been up to.
It's nice to finally have time to chat....Everything looks to be coming together beautifully.
I'm looking forward to seeing the final reveal.
Sweet wishes,
Sara

Ahhh, this IS clever! I love the old world feel you've achieved on that wall. Very cool window placement too without it interfering with displays. Oh how I wish I were able to come visit your store in person!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Old Windows SNS!

I love your idea of putting a window on the inside wall! I think it completed the look and made everything look authentic. I also love how you designed it. It reminds you of old times and the simple life the people had back then. =)
