OK, Here is what I am working on this week,
and it is another fun idea for your decor for October.
You know I really love doing the crow things,
but just what are these guys doing??
Amazing what a little cheesecloth can do.
They've made a place to hang out.Right above the rest of my Fall decor.
To do the hanging crow's lamp:
(sorry i forgot to take pics)
Take any old hanging lamp and paint it black.
(could also be a candelabra )
Drape tea stained cheesecloth around it as you like.
Ad crow's and hang with a black chain.
You could also add Spanish moss, trinkets, and bling.
(this one is not done yet.)
I'm working on a sitting candle holder with the same idea.
And here is another project in process:
Edgar Allen Crow
And here is a crow's nest pumpkin.
A stuffed black, pumpkin,
with all the trimmings added.
thanks for joining me today.
Blessings

Your crow decorations are fantastic! I have never seen crow decs here in the UK, I think I would have to make do with live ones. Can you imagine, lol?

Don't you just love cheese cloth?? And Edgar Allen Crow -- so clever!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the crows (and owls) this year. What would we do without cheesecloth? I can't say I have ever used it in the kitchen but there is a bundle in my little studio! Love your display.
ReplyDeleteI really like what you did with the chandelier-just the right touch!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love Edgar Allan Crow!

Love this !! just enough creepiness to give someone the willies :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara...
ReplyDeleteLovin' the crows!!! Especially the crow meets clock....Two of my favorites!!!
Trying to get back in touch with blog land...been pretty busy around these parts..
Not fully out of the woods yet, but I actually took the weekend off to work and clean around the house....
Still have an office, conference room, lobby, bathrooms, etc...to complete and decorate. Fun stuff...yet tiring too.
Hope all is well...
Those are so fun! That cheese cloth was the perfect addition. Edgar Allen Crow...:)
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Fabric Fun Thursday...love the way you decorated with the crows! Fantastic! I picked up a whole bag full of faux crows at the Dollar Tree this year and have been having fun thinking of different ways to craft with them. Love what you did with the chandelier particularly!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted you to know I featured this post.
