White, hand made, children's tea set.
Would you believe this is a service for 8?
I mean 8 each of cups, saucers, and treat plates!
And it has the Tea Pot, sugar and creamer, with lids!
I have never seen such a big set, complete!
(well, it is not really big, tea pot is only about 5" tall)
And how about hits find.
7 1/2 yards of dotted Swiss fabric, for $2.00!!
OK. What am I going to do with all that fabric?
I was going to use it as a drape in my new room at the store
(c0ming in a couple of months)
But, I also got 7 yards of gauze.
($4.00 for it)
It drapes much better.
So any other ideas, besides draping,
to do with all that fabric??
And is it OK to wash the gauze in the washer?
Jan, from
Bobbypin's Boardwalk
has started the Bragfest up again.
So I'm posting this bird nest in a coin purse cause
I don't know if she has seen it yet.
It still needs a little tag.
What do you think?
Celebrate?
Joy?
Nest?
what else?
Thanks to you all,
and blessings

Barbara Jean, your little nests just find a home everywhere, and always look like they belong!!! I LOVE IT! I'm going to go back and review your tutorial on making those nests, as I also have Grandma's old coin purse, and I've laid it on the dresser in the guest room. How lovely that would look to hve that turquoise egg in a little nest in her coin purse. Your are a genius!!! Thank you so much for sharing this project at the Boardwalk Bragfest today. it's a treasure!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Barbara,
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this coin purse was on your blog!!! I saw it at Jan's and had to stop over and say "hi!" It's gorgeous!!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. You did a great job. I have a nest that I found in my backyard over a year ago and have been meaning to do something creative with it. Mine is bigger though but if it was smaller I'd sure love to make this.
