A little project I just finished.
Inspired by another blogger, but? sorry.
(if you have posted something along these lines in past few days,
please let me know. You inspired me and
I want everyone to know who you are.)
Question:
Is the flower too big for this project?
Seems like it takes over.
Thanks for coming by.

i think the flower is the right size an the project is really great.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara. Thank you for your fantastic words on my blog. One of your fave blogs, mine? wow. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely work you have done. Regarding your question, yes the rose is itsy bitsy big.But you have used the same lace on the left side there, so it should be like that. But you can balance it up a bit my making the counter for the roses, the bottons deco a bit bigger then it all should balance up nicely.
Love the lace you have used. I have drooled over all you fabric and lace finds. You are so lucky to find all thoose beauties.
Blessings!

Hi Barbara,
ReplyDeleteI think your project is perfect. It's so sweet. Whether you leave the flower as is or use a smaller one, it's fine.
After two rounds of antibiotics, I am back on my feet and sewing again. Yay!!
talk soon, xo, Karen
This is truly beautiful! The bow is perfect!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. I think the flower is just fine because it is the same color as the side piece of lace and the picture is what caught my eye first. ♥♫
