Thrifty Thursday Great Finds

Isn't this cat pin cushion the cutest?
(OH too funny! I think this might be a doggy.
Look at the ears. What do you think?)

He is really old, stuffed with straw it feels like.
See his little tongue ticking out??
And he is in great condition!!!
Even with all those pins sticking in him!

Cool book on fashion from ?
Corner of cover torn off where date would have been.
Any guesses as to era this was from?

Aren't these layouts great?

And see the treasures below?
They were all in the free box. Old belt buckles,
pins, and hair clips. Free is super Thrifty!! =)

I'm joining in at Thrifty Thursday today.

Oh, computer update. $100 dollars later,
it still only works sometimes.
If we get a new computer I'm afraid we'll just transfer
whatever virus, or whatever the problem is to it. =(
In the meantime, computer is working faster than it ever has.
Lightning speed!
I like this part. =)
Now, please just stay on while I finish this pot.

  2. You're killing me with your great finds. Stop it! It hurts. I feel just like that little doggie that got all those pins stuck in him!

I went to two mid-week sales today.

    NOTHING!

You MUST have beat me to the good stuff.

  3. I'm not sure I could use that little guy as a pincushion but he sure is cute. And that book is fabulous for the graphics alone. Good luck with the computer issues. best wishes, Tammy

  6. Hmm, I think the cat is a doggy, no whiskers! Whatever it is, cat or dog, it is such a sweet cute thing.

  8. Hey!

Your fashion book is definitely 40's but either during the war or right after. Dresses creeped up to the knee's during the war to conserve material! Stunning book!
