Laces and Surprises for White Wednesday

Look what I found.
A whole tin full of white treasures.
Let's see what we have here.

Trims, yards and yards of trims.
36 yards of these 3 trims.
And vintage lace collars.
Isn't this sheer one so delicate an beautiful?

And how fun is this ruffly beauty, with the little black bow?

and is this cool??
It is a piece of paint with tape on the back,
off an old door knob.
Guess you know this will show up on a collage soon.

Thanks for visiting.
Love white?
Be sure to go visit Kathleen at

  3. I love the laces...esp the tatted edging. I once found such a trove and in it was some unattractive (I thought) black and gray tatted trim. I set it aside and one day when I needed some trim for some Crazy Quilt Christmas stockings..that "ugly" trim was the most beautiful finishing touch! You just never know, do you?

  4. Barb, your trims and lace are gorgeous! I wish I could find more trims and laces when I do my yard sales. Once in a while I will find some trims, I think the scrappers beat me to it! LOL

  9. Love all that lace, you find the best things! I just found out from my sister in law that she threw away a box full of doilies because she didn't like them and they were too old, can you believe that? I cried!
    Have a wonderful day!
