Red, White & Blue

Celebrating July 4th is more,
than just putting cute displays up in the store.

Yes, I did scrounge around and find red, white, and blue,
and put it together, all cute for you.

But I thought about the reason we celebrate it all.
The reason for sales in the stores and the mall.
The reasons for bar-b-ques, gatherings and all.

It is more than fireworks, food, and fun.
It's about our country, and the freedom we've won.

And while we celebrate let's not forget,
those who keep fighting to keep us free yet.

Thank you to those men, and women too,
who are far away from home, and their families, too.

They are the ones who serve and who save,
that we might be free, one more day.

Lord, help us to turn our hearts back to you,
that you might bless us, the way you want to.

God Bless America!!

Happy 4th everyone!!
