Blue Monday brought to you by Smiling Sally.
This is a small hand stitched table cloth.......
that has a small pocket on each side, with a cute little napkin in it. sweet???
and this is a vintage pillow top. Hand stitched also.
This is not part of my blue..... just some Rustic Stuff from the shop.
What is it??
Looks like a lizard tongue.
I have some of these wood shoe things at the store,
but have never seen one with this metal screw thing before.
If you love blue go on over.
Thanks for hosting Sally.
blessings all and have a great week.

Celeste @ larearose.blog will be able to answer your question's on shoe molds. Her g'pa was a shoemaker.

Hi Barbara, what a grand collection of blue you have. I love the shoe strecher. Not sure I spelled that right.. lol. Hope this finds you doing well. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteI love the tablecloth with the napkin holder! How fun is that! The wood shoe is a shoe stretcher. It was put into leather shoes and then opened to the width the "too narrow" shoe needed to be for the wearer. Pretty smart, weren't they?

Thanks for sharing your blues.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Barbara Jean.
Pretty blues.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the screw would be to open or stretch the wood more but not sure.
I love your collection. Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteI played too. Mine are here and here.
I love vintage linens! Have a great week and Happy Blue Monday :)
ReplyDeleteA great variety of this and that. I enjoyed seeing all of them.
ReplyDeleteLovely table cloth!
ReplyDeletePlease come see my blue, have a great week ahead!
I think that shoe thing was to stretch the shoe!!! Not sure but that would be my guess!
ReplyDeleteSweet blues my friend.
Yep! New re/worked banner. I'm going to change even more before long!
Love to you...thank you for stopping in...xoRebecca
I had missed a few of your posts, you find the best stuff. I love the books, they would make wonderful journals. I wish that I had one. I love all the blue on Monday too. Have a extra special Day, Mary
