Blue and Yellow Thrifty Monday

Look at this cabinet my daughter got for me.
You should here her tell the story of getting it into her van.
A little push on one side,
run around the van, a little pull on the other.
Over and over till she got it in there.
Or almost.
The door would not quite shut,
so she drove home holding the door so the cabinet would not fall out!

Price of the cabinet: unknown.
Story: Priceless

Oldish looking mustard yellow, and blue house.
Handmade, but not by me. Cute huh?
And my thrifty find for today's post.

And look at this antique blue crib.

Oh I so wanted this one.
But even at the "low" price of $50,
and the fact that I did not have room in the store for it..

It rolled home with someone else.

Blessings to you all.

Oh, sorry I have been AWOL for a few days.
Had a huge garage sale and it has kept me hopping
a few more days and it will be cleaned up.
Then on to other things.
Like...
Crow pumpkins!! =)

  4. Girl, that is the ugliest cabinet I have ever seen! LOL. Bless your daughter's little pea pickin heart for that one. She knows that you will make it beautiful. Can't wait to see it after receiving your magic touch.

  5. Oh my goodness....your story of your daughter getting that cabinet in the van made me laugh. We have done similar things so many times. My poor daughter has ridden home sitting in the most interesting of places because of something I, or my Mom, just had to have.

  7. Careful of that crib. The slats might be too wide to be safe. It's a beautiful color, though.

Happy Blue Monday, Barbara Jean! Check out my book giveaway.

  9. If that cabinet is solid, it certainly would be a hefty piece. What a sweet daughter to tote it home for you. Love that sweet little dollhouse. Just about anything in blue looks good to me. :) Best wishes for your week, Tammy
