old equipment and fun finds

vintage thingies thursday

My Vintage Thingies

These are some things i have
seen on my walks in the morning.

Old Farm Equipment

An old, I mean really old, Wheelchair.

And these treasures.
When i walk I see things I would I
would not see if I were driving, or even riding my bike.
There were two of these,
tucked back under some bushes.
They were on each side of cement steps,
that had not been used in years.
I pushed the bushes aside and took some pics of them.
Then went up to the door to make sure it was OK i did. =0)

I'm not sure the man even knew they were there!
So, before i left, i gave him my name and phone number
and said if he ever wants to sell them
i would love to have them in my yard.
No calls yet,
but i enjoy seeing them when i walk that direction.

Here are some Vintage and Thrift Treasures.
Wait till you see what I'm going to do with these!!!

And here is some trusty dusty tinware, cooper,
and even some rusty cast iron.
(hope I did not already show you these sometime.) =-0

OK that's it for today. Short and sweet.
I have a mess at the store to clean up before i open.

Blessings on your day and thinks for coming by,
and thank you ladies, for doing such a great job hosting!!

  17. They're lovely Barbara. I love stopping to look when I see old farm equipment. It's almost as if everything just froze in time. The wheelchair is a sort of haunting beauty.

  18. Interesting very old wheelchair! I am pushing wheelchairs at my job everyday. Brakes on and off, patients in and out, footrests on and off. No wonder I get worn out each day.
