~White Wednesday
Outdoor Wednesday at
Southern Daydreamer
and
at Sue Loves Cheries
This is a combined post for these three special days.
thanks, ladies, for hosting.
OK. First some white...
a bit of my sea shore display at the store.
The floor that needs painting
in the new room at the store.
This is a roll of fabric i got several years ago at a sale.
My Dad pointed it out,
and thought for $2.00 I should get it.
Have used it a couple of times,
and have an idea for a bit of it again.
Anyone know what it is or is for?
You can see it is a huge roll,
but only about 1' wide.
It is extremely tight woven, and
will not tear at all.
Very interesting.
I'm sure Dad is right,
and i will use it for something, someday. =0))
These are my new Hummingbird nests,
and some Cottonwood seed pods with white stuff on them.
It is perfect for for the fluff in the nests.
It is not what Hummingbirds use,
but it does the job, and is easier to
find than what they actually use.

He is a hard worker.
The other two could take a lesson from him.
They just stand around and visit.
And for Rednesday...
here is a new nest for you.
To hang or stand,
this bird nest is really grand.
How do you like it in that fire
engine red vintage lantern?
And this is Doreen.
She is a character I play on rare occasions.
She showed up at her granddaughters birthday party Sunday.
She is from the south...
And she's sayin'
"Y'all hurry back now, ya' hear?
Blessings, and big smiles,
Barbara Jean

Hey, Barb -- tell Doreen hello! She sure looks like a sweetie, and right at home on Rednesday! I think the three bunnies reminds me of some chip commercial that debuted during the super bowl. Workers stand around eating the chips looking out the window. One is actually working ... know the one?
ReplyDeleteGotta finish everything tomorrow ... yikes! look at the time. Nitey night! Try to get my posts done tomorrow ...
Hugs!
Betty :)
Loving the bird's nests and Doreen's cute ensemble.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day whichever one it is!
Oh my, I love all of your whites, especially those two bunnies! I've been looking for a big, cheap cement one for my garden.
ReplyDeleteThat nest is so cute on that lantern...how creative! And Doreen is as cute as a button!
Happy Rednesday!

ReplyDeleteDawn
Lovely combined posts. You certainly covered it all! Happy Rednesday!
