Ps 139 Jar.
I've been out of these for awhile.
Hard to find just the right jars.
Ps. 139:17,18 is one of my favorite scriptures.
It's how much God thinks of us:
More than there are grains of sand.
Amazing!!
Today I dry brushed the edges with black,
and lined the bottom with felt.
and lined the bottom with felt.
This one has 4 little vintage buttons in it.
These buttons are only 1/4" wide!
That's how small the box is. =)
I added a little pearl to this one to finish it.
I'm so glad little miss frugal here,
has save all those little pieces of this and that.
Just enough for these little boxes.
And here is a sweet little vignette.
Can you imagine a little vintage treasure in that sweet box?
Here is a new nest in a wire container.
I lined it with burlap, and set the nest on top.
Then I ran some big jute through
the holes and tied a know it front.
I love the nest and burlap together, and will
be doing more of this combination.
And a closeup of the container with jute knot.
We've been changing the store around,
and moved the black and silver to the hall.
Picture is a little dark, but I think if
you click on the pic you can still take a look around.
My Victory of the week:
WE FINISHED THE TAXES!!!!
Done, finished, sent in!!
A deep sigh of relief, and ready to get on with life.
Blessings to all who visit here.
I so enjoy seeing you have come by.

You are so creative. I always love visiting to see what new thing you have come up with. Thanks for visiting my blog & leaving me a comment. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love your little matchbox makeovers. Our tiny matchboxes here are so cheap and fragile. I do save any other kind of box that comes along and just need to start making them over. I also need to get a hot glue gun. Have never owned one ... can you imagine? Love your little decoupaged bottle too. So sweet with a lovely message. I might have to make that one for my friend Sheryll who runs Operation Hope (helping third country nationals in this country). Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Tomorrow I craft! Many blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThe nest is so precious!

Your little decorative boxes are beautiful and I sooo love all your vingettes. I'm really lusting after all your silver, especially the footed compote with the lacy edges!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comments about my little sparkly egg. I just got a new 'puter and it allows me to "spotlight" and soften the edges around pics and I had fun playing with that one!
Happy PINK SATURDAY!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love those scripture jars.
ReplyDeleteThese pieces are brilliant! I'd suggest uploading them in an art community so other people can see it. I am a member of one myself (at http://www.theartreserve.com) and these pieces of yours would be perfect for it!
