A thrifty find for display at the store:
$1.79
Will be cute wiht old bottles or sewing treasures in it.

Vintage metal suitcase.

Any guesses what i will be doing with the inside?
Those of you who visit me all the time will know. =0)

Here are some little red Valentines I'm working on.

And this is an easy way to jazz them up.
Make a litle pocket to put them in.

take a square paper doily and fold sides in as shown.
(a bit of an angle, Kind of see where they need to
be so center will fold up and cover them.

Then fold middle up, and glue onto side pieces.
You can use hot glue, glue stick. or those roll on tape glues.

Tuck in alittle Valentine, add words, a bow, little jewelry etc.
This one is not done. She gets a little heart or bow,
and i usually spray them all with fine glitter.
(sorry for blurry)

this can be done with a round, or heart shaped doily too,
or even lace.
I saw this idea last year in blogland but sorry i do not remember where.

(and don't miss out on the tutorials on my side bar.
making nests, and making a vintage baby shoe.)
Some outdoor colors popping out.
A few crocus...

Primroses, wilty, but color none the less.
(we'll take all we can get on gloomy Oregon rainy days.)

And a winter Pansy starting to bloom.

A little cream vignette.

And some cream I need help with.
I made this, and it needs something....

Then I made this....

And here they are together....
I like it, but think it is too much for the purse.
Maybe just a piece of jewelry instead?
What do you think? Be honest. =0)

and penny pinching....

is using old tea bags to make roses.
Tutorial almost done.

see them on the corners?
