Spring Open House

 Our Spring Open House is this Saturday,

April 5th, 10-6.

Here are just a few of the treasures we have gathered lately.

I'm sure you have noticed there is lots of rust.

My fave thing right now!

big hardware drawers from an old store.

buckets, planters, and more buckets.

Benches and strawberry boxes.

And no Spring Open House is complete without an old bicycle.

Yep. Looks like we've been under construction alright.

and an old red pump for the garden.

Blissful Whites Christmas Display

 Getting set up for our Simply Shabby Christmas at the shop next week.

(Nov. 14-16)

Here are some bits and pieces of what we have done so far.

always try to have a sled and ice-skates for decor.

Of course they sell fast.....

found a 'spare' sled today at thrift store,

wo we will ahve two at least. =)

Mantle, a bit different each year.

Someone already wants the cathedral mirror....

Did not even make it to the sale.

  PS My "Spring" Tree from last week has gone over great. Sold the first ones, and now orders. Lot of work, but love the whole simpleness of it.=)

Fall Display

Bits of Fall decor at the store.

Every year my crows come out to play.

What do you think of the new crow head on the right of the box?

It is part of a loom.

  a few of my hand made pumpkins left...

love the old typewriter too.

tucking artificial fall 'greenery' livens up our display.

And all kinds of mysterious items hidden here and there.

 this is an old charcoal lighter.

when they get hot you dump into your bar-b-q.

perfect for a floral bouquet.

that's all.

Beautiful Whites & Creams

 We had our Vendor Market last Saturday,

and this is the Outdoor Bedroom we put together for it.

I've wanted to do it for along time,

and this time finally got it together, with help from my Mom

and my friend who helped me with the sale, before and during.

The back drop is a section of fence I got from a friend.

We added curtains across the top, using some shelf brackets,

and let kt drape down on the sides.

An old headboard and food board, attached to some old springs made the bed.

Then we added burlap and a wonderful crocheted table cloth to the top if it.

(Love burlap and lace together).

We added pillows....

 

(more burlap and lace)

  and some decor to the headboard. Old sconces and a picture of Jesus.

Then put a tray covered with music paper, an old stoneware plate,

book and gloves too.

I love how it all turned out.....We are leaving it up for awhile,

 but all the parts are for sale.. When they are gone we will be 

able to put some other cuteness

together,

but I'm in no hurry. =)
