Iron Work Thrifty Finds

I'm a sucker for iron work.
You could put a glass top on this little piece and make a table... or,
put votive holders in those holes.
Not sure what it was really for.

This is for votive,
but I thought maybe a great jewelry display.
Any other ideas?

A wreath holder. Adjustable.
Hmmm. what else could it be used for?
I really like using things for other than what
they were meant to be used for.

And I thought this would make a nice pumpkin holder.
(or, you could put candles on it!) =)

thanks for coming by

Barbara I love the iron work pieces. I love to use things for a different purpose than what they are meant for. I love the idea of putting pumpkins on instead of candles. At Christmas I could see placing some larger round ornaments instead of the traditional Christmas candles.

LOVE your fantastic find!!!

I'm in such a Halloween mood - I'd put creepy spiders (cloth or clay) surrounding each 'tealight' holder part - then in the middle - a creepy screaming pumpin (cloth or clay) with a hole in the bottom for a battery operated tealight (acually use those all over the piece) - add cobwebs and OOOHHH!!! LOVE IT!!!

Oh, I love them as well1 & the pieces you have here are so nice. I especially like the first one...So pretty!!!! =0) I'll have to post tomorrow a pretty 12 votive holder one I got last year for just $2.50 at a local thrift store. It had great prices but it closed =( I miss that one. It's the only really really god find I have come across. Hopefully I can find another shop that has good prices eventually. But you scored on those girly! =0)

Hi, Barb. Looks like you've been having some fun. What about hanging two separate pieces of artwork on the wreath holder? Or maybe a vintage hanger with black and white photos. Linda and Itsy Bits and Pieces just did a post on that. Could be cute!
