Victorian to Rust

 Happy White Wednesday everyone.
I have a bit of this and that today.
These are pics of a beautiful, and delicate white
 Victorian dress. Hand beaded......
 (excuse background pumpkin fabric. Was in a hurry to photograph it)
 This is the neck.....
 More of beautiful hand beading....
 just love this.....
I have the neck, part of bodice, and part of back....
(the 16 eye hooks part).
 Shabby white Fall sign I did.
 Rusty white name plate on my 'new' Buffalo scale.
 Old wall heaters.
shabby, chippy white.
I will  take heaters off back, then maybe
mount rest on wall and use to hang pics on.
Any other ideas????
oh oh! Just thought of something else I could do.
Take that wire piece out and use rest as frame.
Then have wire to play with too..=)

 My newest and most wonderfully great treasure.

Have wanted one for the shop forever...
but could not afford one.
Happy dance....finally found one!! =)
 other simple little things:
candle holders. perfect for a crow, or orange candles.
 child's wooden chair....
and small doll buggy base.
We can have fun with this....
Those are all the fun finds I'm showing today.
I have hit the jackpot lately,
and cannot wait to show you the rest. =)

Blessings and have a super week.

White Wednesday Rustic Fun

 Here are my fun White Wednesday treasures.
An old lumber yard apron....
Thought maybe fun with straw and a pumpkin in it.
(thinking Fall girls)
 This is a really cool folding mason's yardstick.
One side is regular inches..
 the other for spacing masonry. cool huh?
 Do you think this is  a razor?
It looks like it but I cannot figure out how blade was attached.
Very old.
 Just got this perfectly shabby, rusty, white cage.
click to see cool doors.
 This is a (sideways) Dentist Lab appointment calender
from 1960.
This is one of 38 license plates I bought in a big box.
They have the lights brackets to attach to your car too.
A great way to display them.
and this is just a little wire basket that had some kind
of pots with candles in them. I ditched the candles,
and will use the baskets for something else.
Any ideas???
 They are about 4x8" with 2 round rings where candles sat.

All for today.
Have been finding awesome treasures for the store...
just not any more white ones....

and thank her for hosting. =)
White Wednesday
And don't miss next week.
I'll be posting .....

License Plate Fun

 I bought some license plates while on vacation.....
 almost all Colorado plates....all cool and perfectly rusty.
 There were 38 assorted ones......
and these hangers from the cars they were on.
 (above plate, where light bulb was hooked in).

Well, I've been trying to figure out what to do with them,
(except the 1915 one which is worth over $100!!! YAY!!
and a couple of others worth quite a bit too.)
and then I remembered this........
a project from Donna at
She takes every day things and makes the cutest projects out of them.
I'm not sure I will use mine for toilet paper,
have something else up my sleeve,
but I'll show you when it is done.

In the meantime, if you click on Donna's link,
it will take you straight to her projects pages..
and you can see all the fun ideas she has shared over time.

Thanks Donna!!!

wonderful Stores in Astoria

 These are pics of a cute little store in Astoria,
Farmhouse Funk.    The owner, Denise, was delightful.
In addition to the store she has an event with extra vendors.

 She had alot of different areas in the store,
but I loved the red....
cute, cute, cute, kitchen area.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 This is a booth at another antique mall.
Loved this cute idea of the books over the entrance.
 This gal, Ambiance Vintage, had lots of great ideas,
and such cute displays. I could have taken pictures of every inch of it,
but I'm never sure how others feel about their spaces being shared.
so I am just sharing this couple of photos,
but if you are ever n Astoria,
you do not want to miss this store.
And this is what we saw in the window of a store
 that was not open till the next day..=(  (Yankee Trader)
So cute, and I could not get inside.
Can you believe all the stuff they have in just that one small area?
And don't miss that there is a car in the middle of it.
so cute.
Thanks for coming by.
have a super day.
