And how about this old blue crackled tea pot?Maybe not safe for tea, but cool to look at.
It has 3 cherries on the bottom center of the plate,

The tea set is darling! And I love the sugar bag. I just attended a class on incorporating vintage linens into quilts. I would use that sugar bag in a 1930s reproduction quilt.
There's a recipe for soaking linens and getting out stains that the teacher shared. Mix equal parts of powdered dishwasher detergent, like Cascade, and powdered non-chlorine bleach (but NOT oxy-clean). She mixes a cup of each and soaks them in a large sink overnight. Then puts them in the washer on gentle with no detergent and lets them run through the whole cycle. She says most stains come out this way. However, if there is a price-tag on the linen that has been there awhile, those marks sometimes don't come off and can actually develop into a hole.
