Ever notice how many different kinds there are?
Metal ones with wood handles.
(see that very very old on on the top right?)
cooool!!
Hand crafted I think. And big and heavy.
Must have been one big, strong man (or woman) who used this.

And here is my new treasure.
I finally found a bucket for it.
Not quite small enough, but it will do.
You know I am lovin' this.
Thanks for coming by.
Happy Tuesday blessings

The wringer immediately put me back in my grandmother's wash house on wash day. I used to love to watch her wash clothes. She had several #2 buckets set up. Soap, rinse, rinse and finally through the wringer. She didn't get a new fangled washing machine until 1967, I believe it was. I don't know why they waited so long. They could well afford it. I think she just preferred doing it the way she was used to. And maybe it was therapy.
Cool stuff! The the old things mixed with lovely little flowers! I have spring fever so bad!

The flowers make for such beautiful pictures!
Ooh! I love the wringer. That is so cool! Your purple and yellow flowers put me in the mood for spring! Today is the first day in 3 weeks that the wind isn't blowing so I have been outside enjoying the sun!
xo, Karen
That wringer is cool, but it would be a constant reminder of my childhood! Personally I LOVE the white chair.
