Beautiful Whites

 White Wednesday.

One of my favorite days!

Crochet thread, doilies, pearls....

 Trim on a box I did.

 Wonderful lace, and little balls of string.

 Sweet little child's coat.

 Beautiful tatted trim, hand sewn on.

 Collar.....

 and sleeves too.

Fun Things To Do

I'm going to make some up for our 

Vintage Marketplace Holiday Faire in two weeks.

OOOOH. Two weeks??? I'd better stop napping and get busy.

Pink Saturday Starfish

 Pretty pink flowers from our vacation.

 Below is the underbelly of a starfish eating.

If it might bother you, please do not scroll down.

We were on a pier and some kids were fishing.

They had something so heavy on their line it was going to break their pole.

They had a huge starfish on the line!!

Dad to the rescue. Got it up out of the water,

and high enough up to net it.

 

They gently dropped it on the pier.

Can you see the little fish (bait) in it's mouth??

  

They got it out, and then gently tossed the 

starfish back in the water, and it swam off.

This starfish was a foot wide, and had twenty tentacles!!!

And it was heavy!!!

Another simple little adventure we enjoyed on our vacation.

Blogger/Google????

Blogger/Google, what are you doing to me??? to us???

Once again everything is changed!!!!

Not only are the screens different,

and I have no read list,

but, when I tried to read my fave blogs on

Google Reader, they have changed that format, too.

OK. No big deal......

BUT, according to Google Reader I have NO Names

on my list. Zero, Nada, None, Not a One!!!!

Honesty I am getting so sick of it all I am

about ready to give up blogging all together!!

I am just not feeling up to learning one more thing!!

OK, vented, but do not feel any better. =/

White Wednesday

  White Wednesday vacation pics for you.

Cool old rusty gates at abandoned house.

Sure wish I could have found owner and asked about them.

 Huge mushrooms....

 This is my sweet fella's hand.

Just wanted you to see how very big those mushrooms really are.

OK NOW. STOP HERE IF PICS OF 

SKULLS  & BUGS WILL BOTHER YOU.

 We saw these while we were out walking one day.

I'm thinking they are cow skulls, but they look so wide.

Eyes look like the alien pics we see.

And below is a Praying Mantis.

 I kept getting closer and closer to take photos.

 It finally moved it's head just the tiniest bit.

 Sorry head is blurry. (but maybe it is best that way.) =)

Had more, but they were sideways! ugh!!
