Thritfty and Vintage Thursday

Still have not been out shopping much.
But, here is one thing I did find.

It is a children's Devotions Book.
It is brand new.
Has not even been opened.
And only $1.00!!

Think one of my grandkids might get this.
OOOH, but which one????

Look at this artwork.
Isn't it just sooooo sweet!!!

Love this little girl in the bubbly bath and her happy kitty.

But mostly love what the book says.

Here are some vintage thingies for you.

a little needle and scissors holder.
Still has some of the old pins and needles in it.

I LOVE the color of this dish.

And it is such a different and interesting shape.
I wonder what it was for.
Anyone know??

I bought this vintage sewing cabinet at a sale.
(sorry for bad pic)
It has 4 little drawers in the front....

and both ends had big storage areas in them.
There were all kinds of yard. sewing supplies,
the needlework table cloth i showed you yesterday....

And these stitcheries were part of what was in it.

someone had put a lot of work into them.

I hope I will be able to find someone to finish them.

I'm posting at these lovely blogs today..

thanks for hosting gals!!
