Silver Sunday

Silver (cast iron) toy jet from occupied China.
My brother, who lives there and teaches English,
brought it over for me.
Been tying to find out the value of it.

Old Silver toaster.
Still works.
This old toaster in nothing but rust now.
(you can still see the tiniest bit of silver at the top).
I'm going to use it to display old photographs.
You could also use it for a recipe card holder.

And here is a tip for you.
In order to keep the rust from getting on everything,
just clean it up, and spray with clear acrylic sealer.

Please go visit Gypsy Fish Journal for more silver.

That toaster with the red handles is really neat. Would you dare plug it in?

I like rustic silver more than any type of silver....allows for the character to show thru....after all I'm by no means polished and perfect so why should my silver be?
Your toasters are too cute!
thanks for playing along!
hugs,
Beth

Cute toasters. I actually remember using a toaster like the one with red handles. Yikes!
The little toy jet is a great little treasure. Good luck finding out more about it.
I'm late arriving and posting for Silver Sunday this month, but hope you will stop by for a visit. I'm sharing some recent sliver finds. ~ Sarah
