Blue Monday

Buttons, and boxes, and blue trees.

Blue Monday

Go on over to Smilin Sally's after this,
and see all the other wonderful blue treasures.
Be sure to than her for the great hosting job each week!!!

As usual, I think variety is the spice of life...
So, let's spice it up a bit....

Blue Buttons
(I have 6 more sheets of these.
They will be my 3 or more soon).

Blue Trees?

These are peach and plum trees.

Anyone know why these are painted blue??

close up of blue trees.

This is one of my upcoming projects...
Hmmm. bird nest?
Or sea shore?

And, I know i already posted this new item,
but just so love it, had to show you again.*

Thank you to Martha, at
apple tree cottage
for the graphic for this box.
(I may put together cute little boxes, and make bird nests,
but if you want to see delightfully painted treasures,
you should go visit her.)

And surprise!!!!

Bet you did not expect to see a snowman this time of year!
This is a box i did last winter.
Only got one done for the sale,
so will do more this year.
Don't ya' love him??
Did you see the little red birds??

Blessings and hope you have a great Blue Monday.

My guess is that the trees are painted blue to prevent some disease or insect. I think the snowman is cute, but I sure don't want the nice summer to end. Happy Blue Monday.

I love the painted snowman sign. Snowmen on midnight blue backgrounds is one of my favorite symbols of Christmas and winter. Have a great day.

Hello Barb...

Just read the sweet note that you left for me on my Blue Monday post...so happy that you came by and thank you for the sweet comments!!! My friend, I have just recently learned how to do the photo mosaics...they really are so much fun! I learned from the tutorial that Mary from Little Red House gave. She is also the same sweet lady that does Mosaic Monday. Anyway, I am including the tutorial link so you can check it out....

Love your new project...and I'm thinking "coastal"! But I'm sure whatever you decide...will be fabulous, my friend!!! Thank you so much for sharing your more of your beautiful creations...I just adore them!!!

Warmest wishes,

The snowman totally caught me by surprise! I could almost be ready for him, but my favorite season is Autumn. He is mighty cute, though!
