brought to you by....

Great idea Marty!!
Thanks for hosting.

OK,. Here goes, but first,
I have to tell you I have lost some of my pics.
I mean i had these on here two weeks ago,
then poof!! gone.
So I am trying to find them.
Will post again tomorrow night if i dig 'em up.

One of the things I'd like to point out is,
I'm using everyday, non cloche items,
to make treasures.
So keep an eye out for:
candle sconces.

For now,
you've seen this little guy...

he's still available

And this on with the seed pods in it.
( I raised it up on a glass to give it some added height.)

Candle sconce, and sundae glass...

Candle sconce.
This little guy is new, and will be at the store.
It has a tiny pair of 1" doll shoes tucked inside.

just tucked an earring in here.
Not quite it, but found a heart now. =0)

OK, now, here is an assortment of things.

Sundae dish, glass plate/bowl, glass doorknob, jewelry.

To make a cloche display from a thicker glass,
you need to use things that will be easily seen.
I chose pearl necklaces.

Simply fill the 'cloche' with the pearls,
put you bottom 'plate' over the top of it,
and turn over upside down. WA La!!

These have the glass door knob on the top as a handle.
You can also use a big piece of jewelry.

Gather up all the pieces and make your self a vignette.

Here i raised it up on a small saucer and a glass plate.
And another vignette made.

All for now.
I'm going to look for those other pics, and post tomorrow if i find them.

This is an adorable idea. I just never thought to turn something pretty upside down and use it like this. Now, I need to go thru and see what I might have to do the same.

Hi Barb...

My friend, what clever and creative ideas for cloches!!! I would have never thought to use a glass candle sconce...that's brilliant! Another blogger had an iron planter that she turned upside down for a cloche..it was really pretty too! I just love blogging!!! All you talented ladies are such an inspiration to me!!! Now my friend, I must admit...that last cloche with the pearls is my very favorite!!! Ohhh..and the vignette is fabulous!!! So very beautiful and romantic! I love all the pearls...and the crochet doily and all the embroidered white fabric...well, it was the "icing on the cake" for me!!! That photo should be in Romantic Home!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your talents and creative ideas...ohhh, all of your pretties...with us today!

Warmest wishes,
Chari
PS...Girl, I got one of my 3 projects finished and posted about it today for the cloche party!!! Hip...hip...hoorah for me! Hehe!

Hi Barbara Jean,
Isn't it great that so many none cloche items can stand in for cloches? I love your arrangement with the sundae glass and pearls, very pretty. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a lovely weekend.
