Marvelous Monday and My Giveaway!!

Treasures I found.....
Love kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.
Got about 13 of these McCalls Cookbooks.
They are from the 70's, and in perfect condition.
Paid $1.00 each. More than I would usually pay,
but I think they are worth it.
They are going in the store.

Love these. Not sure what to do with them yet.
Maybe just leave them as is and let someone else figure it out. =0)

Any ideas??

Finished my apartment complex.
Liked the simplicity of "Sing".

Now junkin' to find another unique piece for my nests.
Maybe for the giveaway!!
(see below for link).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My first ever baby shoe pin cushion.
I pictured it last week, but did not want anyone to miss seeing it. =-)
(shameful isn't it?) =-)
Decided the pink ribbon was too much.
Putting something else on instead.
(tea stained ribbon? Lace bow?).
Frantically looking for more baby shoes to 'antique'!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A 'new' nest art piece....
(and another shoe nest)
Altered by rain.
Yes. Left it too close to edge of patio when I sprayed it.
Can you believe that old music paper turned green?
And it matches the green I had painted the eggs.
Weird huh?
Wonderful accident!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
And here are two blue pics for you from 2006.
Our sweet Ava (now 5)
with her other Grammy in thus pic.....
And me here.
And here is where you go to sign up for my giveaway.
I absolutely adore the nest in the old coffee grinder. That could have come straight out of a French barn, complete with real nest and eggs. Totally authentic.
Hi Barb, The things with the scrollwork at the top, I can it done with the insert made up like your frames with a nest and bird or maybe do the spray chalkboard to the insert, and then do it up with your music sheets and bird and nest..
Hugs
I love the frames, I think a family picture would look good on that with just a little bit of polishing.
My son said That's so gross, find out why.
Love those shoes!!~ As for those mirrors, if you like shabby chic then they are perfect. If you like darker woods, then a a couple coats of your favorite stain and you have a rustic mirror...I love them both!!~
