Spring Open House

Our Spring Open House is this Saturday,
April 5th, 10-6.
Here are just a few of the treasures we have gathered lately.

I'm sure you have noticed there is lots of rust.
My fave thing right now!

big hardware drawers from an old store.

buckets, planters, and more buckets.

Benches and strawberry boxes.

And no Spring Open House is complete without an old bicycle.

Yep. Looks like we've been under construction alright.

and an old red pump for the garden.

Lots more to seellll

Blissful Whites Wedesday

Short post for Blissful Whites Wednesday today.
A lot of good finds this past week, just mostly other colors, and rust! =)
This bench is huge, and heavy!
Will probably outlast us all.
(sold)

I finally found more 'affordable' old white windows.
Been out for some time at the store.
They are going fast.
SOLD

I know these are hard to see,
but they are the plastic pieces from the side of a birdcage.
I just loved the sweet dimensional design on them.
Someone wanted the bird cage they were on,
but not the panels. So now I get to have them.
To do what?? No clue. Just too cool to throw away.
(please click to enlarge and see detail better)

And lastly, here is a very unique piece.
It is metal, about 4".
Must be some wonderful art this can be added to...

Thanks for coming by...
today joining Blissful Whites.

Just For Fun

Just some things I got last weekend...
old bus seat frame..
and back....
love that rusty metal cool green color.
(it would make a great sign!!!)

quick idea: lay some nailed together slats of wood...instant pot holder..
or you can sit....but it is pretty low to the ground. =)

yard art: a huge radiator fan from a huge truck..
 and...Gertie....
She is about 5' tall.
I cut her out and painted her years ago.
hangs around out side til the end of October.

Hope she left you smiling.
