 Fun Finds yesterday and today....

what do you call these anyway?

100 yard roll of lace, and a cool patio lantern.

 maps from Sunday School classes.

Very old.

 how about an old drinking fountain?

And love the light from  a guys barn.

Any idea what you would call that to look it up?

It is from a hardware restoration store.

 closeup.... thinking about 15" tall? forgot to measure,

and an old scrap book, a boy scout necktie in box,

and..I think the cream ceramic thing is a bed warmer.

It is very thin 'glass' whatever it is, and is from China...

I mean my brother actually brought it over from China...

Hope you have answers to some of my questions.

OK. I've been busy

 Yep. Not here very often.

Store has gotten very busy,

and I spend more time on FB no than on here.

I so appreciate those of you who have stuck it out,

and still visit me. 

I spend a lot of time shopping now too.

Sales are great, but taht means I HAVE to shop more. 

(and you know I love it!)

And this is prime shopping season around here.

Here are a few of my latest treasures....

Cool cast iron stove...

 Love this top thing....

 rust. YAY!!

 Still looking this one up to see what to sell it for.

 This is another great find.

A cream separator.

Still trying to find out about it also.

Takes a lot of time researching...

 Hard to see this, but it is an old garden cultivator.

Best one I have found yet. Has all parts.

 Cement urns. A must have in the garden season.

 Cast iron pots....love.

and bits of this and that.

And this is only the tip of the good loot ice-burg.

I post all my new finds on FB...

and I ship small items.

Do hope you will visit me there.

I will still try to post here when I can.

And do parties when I can...

But that may happen more in winter.

Crows & Clocks & Lanterns & Stuff

Lace, Leather, Lanterns, and Black Shoes

Here are a few little goodies from 2 weeks ago.
'New' books, and 2 spools of 1/4" leather 'strapping".
(is that what you call it??? or is it lacing?)
A HUGE roll of this light bluish green sheer lace.
It is about 5" across!!!

Beautiful 4" delicate lace.
Wonder how many yards are on it??

Two new lanterns

And some cute little Black Shoes.
Look at those tattered toes!

These are not real shoes, but resin I think.
Aren't they great though??

And, found tons of new and wonderful 'treasures'
the past two weekends.
Will get photos and get them posted.

To those who continue to visit even though I have not
been posting as much, many thanks.
I've spent most of my time and energy getting
a new room at store ready to open.

Creamy Yellow Pots, Patina Blue, and New Lanterns

Patina Blue

New lanterns. Found two of these beauties.

This is a really light creamy yellow crock,
with really old player piano rolls in it.
I just got a whole box of these,
most in better condition than these.


And here is a creamy yellow vase I bought today.
It's a bit different style than I usually go for,
but something about it appealed to me.
