OK. I've been busy

 Yep. Not here very often.

Store has gotten very busy,

and I spend more time on FB no than on here.

I so appreciate those of you who have stuck it out,

and still visit me. 

I spend a lot of time shopping now too.

Sales are great, but taht means I HAVE to shop more. 

(and you know I love it!)

And this is prime shopping season around here.

Here are a few of my latest treasures....

Cool cast iron stove...

 Love this top thing....

 rust. YAY!!

 Still looking this one up to see what to sell it for.

 This is another great find.

A cream separator.

Still trying to find out about it also.

Takes a lot of time researching...

 Hard to see this, but it is an old garden cultivator.

Best one I have found yet. Has all parts.

 Cement urns. A must have in the garden season.

 Cast iron pots....love.

and bits of this and that.

And this is only the tip of the good loot ice-burg.

I post all my new finds on FB...

and I ship small items.

Do hope you will visit me there.

I will still try to post here when I can.

And do parties when I can...

But that may happen more in winter.

Gold Bells Turned Patina

 Here is a little vignette at the store....

See those big gold bells on the left??

 Same vignette...only check out the bells now.

Here is  a closeup (sorry for blurry..

I used my Rust/Patina recipe on them.

So love how they turned out!!

I do anything that looks too shiny new for me.

Results depend on metals used.

New Treasures and What's it Called???

 Hey, some fun new finds.

cool thread holder with cute little drawer in bottom.

 my rustic thingy.....

not sure what it was for, but

 perfect for these type set pieces.

I love repurposing.

 blue pint jars. One with Atlas....new to me.

 Some cool sewing stuff. 

That spool of thread is the first one I've seen that big.

like 3" tall.

 my What is it??

I know these go on some kind of view 'thingy',

but do not know name.

 I got a bunch of them and want to find out pricing.

Oh, I almost forgot my cool faucets.....

Brass...and I think 2 were from kitchen sinks.

any experts out there?

(I spend way too much tme trying to find out value of things for the store,

but I am learning...)

Time to catch up......Finds.....

 I love this!!!!! talk about unique.

First I thought it was a miniature stove replica....

but then figured out it is an old, old lantern.

This is my fave piece right now.

about 7" high. A great conversation piece.

(I'm looking for just the right pic

of two old guys for that hole.) what do you think??

 old rusty cage. a replica...but still cool.

 love this....green...rust....unique.

 I think it is the top to an old pencil sharpener.

Displays and "what to paint it"?

New little displays at store.
cool old mailbox, and rusty tins.

black shelf and old knobs.old cash drawer filled with goodies.
(hope I did not already show you this.)
What color to paint it?
Love the little drawer unit below.
It is about 9x18" (guessing, forgot to measure)
It is not the cool green color it looks like here,
but brighter, and edges are stained brown.
Black, or cream? Or just antique it to tone it down?
What do you think??

Remember this?

It is a pin cushion made with a candle holder.
It is hollow inside so I put in a few buttons.
(sorry, hard to see against the lace. Click to enlarge)
Here is another one.

Well I found two more candle holders,
and one is even pink!!Let me know if you would like a pin cushion
made from one of these.

Here is another find.
A pie carrier.

Make that a two pie carrier.

oooh. A two pie and cake carrier!!

Too rusty inside for pastries,
but maybe fun as a craft holder, or ?

mystery box.
No big deal. Just some used shoe shine stuff.
But, box cool anyway, and will be filled with other goodies.
