This is a Three or More
and
2nd Time Around
Tuesday
combined post.

Three or More Tuesday

It's 3 or more Tuesday at
gypsy corner
Go on over and check out the other treasures listed.

Here are my 3 or more:

I have 4 of these old lamps,
plus a box full of parts
in my garage.

Someone came by the store the other day
and gave me a great idea for one of them.

So although none of them are done right now,
I will give you something to look forward to.

I think i will work on this one first,
and maybe even keep it for myself.

It's
2nd Time Around Tuesday.

Go on over and see Diane's beautiful flowers,
and the others who are posting their great finds..
Thanks Diane. You do such a great job!!

No long stories today, but
here are just a few of my latest finds:

An old pinkish bird cage.
($2.75!!!)

leave it?
paint it white?
It is for the store.

ledgers (only $1.00 each!!!)
(I got 3 altogether, and a dictionary)
I'm smilin'.

And these adorable 'bronzed' baby shoe book ends.
cheap, cheap, cheap! under $1.00 cheap!

OK, give me some input about these.
They were just spray painted to look bronzed,
and as you can see the paint is coming off.

Leave them alone??
Re 'bronze' them with paint?
spray them ivory and antique them???

That's all for now, but will post more finds soon,
and some hand-crafts I've been working on.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

Go on over to Blossom's for more great tips and finds.
Thanks for hostin' the postin'. =0))

Here are some of my latest treasures.

The back of this pic is not very clear,
but it is a couple of boxes that i will eventually use for collages.
At least that is the plan.

There are 6 pieces of tatting laying around in the pic.
All in a bag at a thrift store for $2.00!!!!!!
(Bet you know i was smilin'!!)
There are several 4" round ones, and one 6x8".
There is also a little jar for my 'pearls of wisdom',
7 little wooden letters 4" tall (.49)
a little burlapy type purse which will probably get a bird nest put in it,
and one of those old metal mailbox thingies i like so much.
I think i have 3 now.
Guess i should figure our what i want to do with them. =0))

This is a beautiful sugar and creamer set i got for a dollar.
No markings on it, just pretty, and cheap!!!
Love the flowers.

These are just some miscellaneous things.
garden pots in a pretty green,
candles glasses in rusty metal,
an old tin shaker,
and a copper flour canister.

That is just part of all the treasures i have found lately!!

Show and Tell Friday - Fun Finds

This is Show and Tell Friday over at Kelli's.
Kelli-show and tell Friday

Please hop on over after this to check out everyone's special treasures.

Here are a few of my latest finds for my show and tell today.

This is not a find, but something I figured out
and is in honor of my ever so frugal friends. =0)
(Diane, I'm thinking of you first.)

This is probably nothing new, but I just thought of it so I'll pretend it
is my idea.
We use coffee filters for everything, so
why not tea bags?
Instead of just throwing those little guys away after you've gotten
3 or 4 cups of tea out of them, how about if we take them apart and use them?
We don't even have to tea stain them!! =0))
So, my frugal friends, here is a little rose made out of 1/4 of a tea bag paper!!

OK, now my finds.
This is just all I had time to take pics of yesterday and get loaded.
You know how I love 'stuff', so here is a pile of drawer
pulls to go with my already box full.
We'll add those to the shelf where the bowl of belt buckles are.
The others are a couple of old plates and a lid.
Just loved the old look of all of them.

And how about this beautiful white cabinet.
Perfect before my guy rubbed the black
shelf up against it in transit.
Easily fixable I hope.

And here is my guy.
He drops everything when i need some movin' done.
Isn't he great??!!

Blessings and off and running.

Project Friday - One Finished

Last week I promised to finish a
couple of projects i have had in my mind for awhile.
It really helped ot set a goal for myself, and I
met half of it and am happy for that.

Remember this??

Here it is finished.

As usual, I let the tyranny of the urgent idea get in the way.

Tonight I will post the rest of my Paper Crafting Wednesday project.
This morning I am off to help with 4 grand kids
so my daughter, who is sick, can rest.

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday.
Blessings,
Barbara Jean
