Yellow, Yellow Spring Display

 Some fun yellows for you...
Loved this bag I got at the thrift store.
Then decided it was too nice to put outside with real plants in it.
So, here it is filled with artificial greenery.
Have always wanted some flowers planted in a pair of Spring boots,
Here they are with curly willow in them...maybe flowers later.

New beginnings of Spring display in the store.
and here is a little idea for you...
You know those old magazine racks??
How about adding some burlap and plants,
for a unique little display?

Will be adding more as I find it...

Cute New Purses

I am helping out a new vendor at the store,
seeing how her purses will be received.
The first 3 are all crocheted in black thread, shell stitch.
This one has a draw string handle, and lovely rhinestone button on it.
$20.

This one has short crocheted handles,
and this beautiful  cameo pin.
$20.

The purse below has a long handle,
with beautiful and unique pink pin on it.
 Pin is removable.
$25.00

This cute little clutch is actually a deep burgundy,
and not the bright pink it looks here. $15.
Most have a snap closure, and all are lined.

Here is display I set up for her.

And here is display with burgundy purses also.

Prices range from $15-$25. Most being $20.

We would both love some feedback...

thanks and blessings

Fun New Garden Display

Here are a few of our garden displays and fun old stuff at the store.
love my old stove....getting more flowers for it soon.
these are almost ready to bloom now.
The ultimate garden bed.
We have a new vendor at the store.
garden bench, pots, and more fun stuff.
fun to display in old metal drawer cabinet..
 Pots and windows...
 garden tools, buckets, old string,
and how about an old Coleman heater to set a plant on??
 Pretty pots...
 Bits of this and that.
 How about some turquoise shutters???
And finally, here is a fun idea....
An old waste basket, one with the foot thingy you step on...
and the lid comes up..
old and rusty,
filled with geraniums,
and an old rusty garden tool.
Perfect in front of an old wood wagon wheel.

My Newest Treasures

Hard to say what is my fave of my new treasures on this post.
Victorian Door Bell....
 cool old photo album,
more about that later..
The small books are called "Penny Books".
(at least that is what the lady I bought them from said).
I got 33 of them...all green.
And in the back is my second perpetual calendar.
 and this is totally cool.
I'm new at this antiquing thing,
but I have not seen one of these before.
It is an address book!!
Not sure what is missing at top, but
this is how it works...
You 'dial' to the initial you want,
and then push the little stopper thingy to the left,
then the book opens up to the page you wanted!
woo hoo..
but, below is the most cool......
 This phone from 1940.

Missing the little mouthpiece thingy, but the
cool green color makes up for it.
What do you think?? a keeper??
Thanks for coming by.

Vintage Sewing Machine

Fell in love with the cabinet on this machine.
No, not fancy, or wrought tron, or lots of cool drawers,
but I thought it would make the most adorable desk..
painted white, antiqued..
See the top leaving against right side of cabinet?
Just fold machine down, and set on top, instant desk!

and I love the old machine too.
Look at the detail they used to put on them.

love the detailing. Molded iron...scrolly. so beautiful.

 more detail.

 look at the end piece.
I just love it all.

 and rust!!! =)
You know how I love rust.
beautiful..

That's my treasure for today.

be blessed
