I showed you this picture yesterday, of some
of my finds at the Huge Country Sale
with all the piles and piles of things to dig through.
Well here are some close ups of some my white finds.

Well here are some close ups of some my white finds.
There were two of these lamps.
Looked like they were made of cement, but plaster we think.
They will be great as table bases.

and here is a.......? what?
Not sure, but those metal parts must be good for hanging...
something? Any ideas??
I'll take off the weathered chipboard back.
(looks cool here, but really broken up.)
I got this baby buggy at another little store while we were out.

Yeah. It's falling apart, at least the basket part of it.
I got another buggy a couple of weeks ago too.
Basket also falling apart on it.
and the wheel on the other one.
All 8 wheels are perfectly cool like this.
The frames are great too.
I'm thinking of just taking the wheels off and
selling them for wall decor.
But what about those great frames???
any ideas???
More white next week.....
and at Kathleen's Faded Charm where you can see
all kinds of white!!
Thanks for hosting Kathleen.
And thank you all for coming by.

So many fun things I would have a ball digging through all those treasures. Hugs, Marty
Hi Barbara Jean,
What a great sale you found! Looked like a lot of fun to dig through. I like your idea for the table bases out of those old lamps!
Hope you are having a wonderful week.

I saw some of these treasures on Sonya's blog this week. What a great sale!
I think the baby buggy is adorable. I am sure there is a way to "fix" that broken area and make it so cute!
Years ago I took one of those baby buggies, left the wheels on, took off the wicker and just had the frame with the wood on the bottom. Used it for a riser for a Christmas tree one year, for plants another time. You could do anything with it!
Love those lamps...what a great idea to use for table bases! Be sure to post a pic of what you end up creating with them.

I love the shape and patina on those lamps.
Hi Barbara Jean,
I just looked at the link for the Vintage Marketplace. Boy do I wish I lived near you. I saw a bin full of lace and millinery flowers. Oh my!
Hugs,
Stephanie ♥
