Practically brand new!

His very own art box!
glues, paint brush, colors, pencils, stickers and a folder of art paper.
(what would you expect from a creative grandma!!)

Silver Sunday

Oh my!! I thought Silver Sunday was done.
So, here is my little spur of the moment Silver Sunday post. =0)

Beautiful silver tray we have in our bathroom.

This is a little silver football from 1962
playoffs when my husband was in high school.
(the runner up 'trophy')

Some silver safety pins,
about 4" long!!
(not quite big enough to hold me together some days!)

And this oh so sweet real bird nest my brother gave me years ago!
I placed it in this little leaded silver and glass box I had.
Next to it is an old silver coin.

Decorating Dilemma:

I did this about 4 years ago, when I was changing my
living room from wallpaper to teddies and quilts.


By the time I got it painted,
I decided I did not want that kind of "country" look.
I just hate to paint over it, but....??
Guess that is probably my only choice.
It is my entry and the door opens in front of it.
No room for a piece of furniture.
I do have a friend who hopes I'll cut the wall out so she can have it.
I don't think so.
Any bright ideas???


And while you are in a thinking mood,
anyone know what this paper is for?
It is vintage, and comes in about 5" wide strips.
Maybe 3' in package.
Of course I got it at a sale,
and the guy, when I asked what it was for,
said, " you can use it for anything you want. "
Duh!!
Hope someone knows what it is "supposed" to be for.
I'm curious.
