I love the laces...esp the tatted edging. I once found such a trove and in it was some unattractive (I thought) black and gray tatted trim. I set it aside and one day when I needed some trim for some Crazy Quilt Christmas stockings..that "ugly" trim was the most beautiful finishing touch! You just never know, do you?

Barb, your trims and lace are gorgeous! I wish I could find more trims and laces when I do my yard sales. Once in a while I will find some trims, I think the scrappers beat me to it! LOL

Wow! What a treasure trove you found. I love the ruffled lace with the little black bow. The key hole is so fun with all the layers of paint.
Oooooo! So pretty! And how many of us in the world gasp with sheer happiness and excitement to see a piece of old paint like that? Lucky girl! This type of imagination is a gift from God.
Love all that lace, you find the best things! I just found out from my sister in law that she threw away a box full of doilies because she didn't like them and they were too old, can you believe that? I cried!

Okay, this post gave me chill bumps. I just love that stuff too much, just lovely. But my fave....that paint encrusted keyhole. That piece sends me over the moon!
