Sew Interesting

Fun finds.
Seems to be I am finding sewing goods lately.
Like this red, plastic spool holder.

and this Anne Adams dress pattern. complete with envelope.this trio of treasures..
and these unique scissors.

Anyone know what these are for?
I mean what's the purpose of the notched part?

Thanks for coming by.
So grateful you all stuck with me while my
computer was down, and I did not get to post much.

Well, I'll be darned. If I hadn't seen spools of thread in the red holder, I'd have sworn it was a poker chip holder! It's adorable! Hmmm... Now I'll be looking at poker chip holders differently, wondering if thread will fit. We just might be onto something and start a whole new trend in repurposing. All from your sweet little find.

Have to agree with Wanda ... looks like a poker chip holder we had years ago. I love finding 'other' uses for things. My Mom was an expert at doing that. In fact, she won many a ribbon for using odd things to make flowers arrangements in.
